About me

My research focuses on the feedbacks between plants and their environment to address and understand climate change. To ask fundamental questions about ecosystem functioning, biodiversity, and the climate system, I integrate experimental, meta-analytical, and modeling approaches (see projects here). In 2016 I finished my PhD on the effects of climate change on forest phenology under the supervision of Susanne S. Renner at the University of Munich (LMU). Currently I am working as lead scientist in the Crowther lab at ETH Zurich.
